However, you must paddle constantly to stay in position. Unlike some other Lake Worth breaks, this break doesn’t draw crowds, so it is perfect for beginners. However, this beach may not be suitable for experienced surfers. Be aware that man-of-war and sea lice can be a nuisance in late spring and early summer.

The Nomad Surf Shop is a great place to learn how to surf in Florida. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is also easy to reach by car. A1A provides ample parking. Just be sure to wear sunscreen and swimming gear. For the surfboard, most surfers recommend a longboard or a small-wave shortboard.
